Perth Railway Station ped-velo intereactions

hi Velogrrllll,
I noticed this morning as I walked my bike through Perth Station that pedestrians happily move out of my way when I'm pushing my bike, even though I need twice the width, but only reluctantly when I'm riding - curious.
Also despite Transit Guards policing the use of the path by cyclists to help passenger movement, this had not prevented someone parking the staff car in the most obstructive position at the apex of the corner. I have registered this as a hazard before as even normal operations the car's position both blocks sight lines around the corner, and concentrates path users by narrowing the path at the station entrance. Had 'nice' phone call about this subsequent to my complaint, and even when I pointed out that the car was parked in an area marked 'no parking' I was told it didn't apply to this particular car. The irony that the Transit Authority should be using this busy pathway to park their cars in a manner that obstructed passenger flow seemed to entirely escape him.
